Chamomile Roman Pure Essential Oil
Anthemis nobilis
Roman chamomile is a small perennial herb which belongs to family species Asteraceae. The roman chamomile oil is produced from Anthemis Nobilis. Growing to a height of above 25 cms, the plant bears Daisy like white flowers and is also known as sweet chamomile, English Chamomile and Garden chamomile.
Extracted by a process of steam distillation, the roman chamomile oil has a chemical composition of camphene, b-pinene, sabinene, myrcene, 1,8-cineole, y-terpinene, caryophyllene, and propyl angelate and butyl angelate.
Used in general for abdominal pain, gall bladder troubles and throat infections, Roman chamomile oil has been a herbal remedy for sunburn and windburn.
